Where Survival Meets Celebration
End of the World Gala
Branding and Identity
The End of the World Gala is a dystopian-themed event concept designed to raise awareness about global issues through immersive storytelling and environmental world-building. The identity blends survival-guide aesthetics with repurposed textures, distressed typography, and militaristic signage to create a sense of urgency and narrative depth. Each touchpoint—from the lint-dryer invitation card to the weathered wayfinding sign—reinforces the theme of resourcefulness and community resilience. The gala’s program transforms the event into a staged journey: seeking shelter, learning survival skills, sharing a final feast, bartering for art, and ending the night with a symbolic countdown. This project reframes crisis through design, using atmosphere, interactivity, and storytelling to highlight the importance of clean water, food security, and strong communities in a collapsing world.
